Komodai returned to Earth and captured Sonya Blade, likely in an attempt to lure Jax into another confrontation. His plan was foiled, and he was ultimately defeated by Jax Briggs once again. This ended his threat to Earthrealm. Following his defeat, Komodai was sent back through the dimensional barrier to his original realm of origin.

She is later killed, and Jax is wrongly blamed for her murder. However, it's revealed that a shape-shifting Black Dragon ninja was the true culprit.

Wu Lae

Wu Lae is a character that appears in the Konquest mode of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. He is the leader of the Tengu clan, based in Arctika, wielding a scythe and the ability to manipulate orange energy in battle. The Tengu clan is a rival to the nearby Lin Kuei clan. Though despite their rivalry, there exists an uneasy truce where the Tengu stay out of the Lin Kuei's territory. In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's Konquest mode, the Tengu clan mistakes Taven for a threat due to encounters with Noob Saibot and Smoke. Provoking them to launch a attack on Taven resulting in the clans defeat. Wu Lae later realizes his error and acknowledges Taven as non-hostile. He then provided Taven with information about the Lin Kuei temple he had been searching for. In the game, players have the option to perform a Fatality on Wu Lae. Doing so rewards the player with an alternate costume for Sub-Zero. However, in the canon story, Wu Lae is spared. Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat 11 has a mask called the "Frozen Tengu," which is likely a reference to the Tengu clan led by Wu Lae.
